About Please The Bees

Our Mission

Please the Bees is a dedicated community interest company focused on bee conservation. Events 2025
🎶 Serenading the Bees – Music Among the Hives 🐝🌿

Last year, Please the Bees tried something a little different — and a little magical.

We brought music into nature with our Serenading the Bees concerts, inviting musicians, supporters, and the local community to gather beside the hives and share live music in a calm, natural setting.

Music with a Purpose

These weren’t typical gigs. There were no flashing lights or loud amplifiers — just acoustic sound, open air, and respect for the bees.

The idea was simple:

  • Celebrate pollinators through creativity 🎻

  • Create peaceful, therapeutic spaces 🌼

  • Connect people to nature in a meaningful way 🌍

Surrounded by wildflowers and the gentle hum of the hives, musicians played stripped-back sets that blended beautifully with the environment.

How Did the Bees React?

One of the most common questions we were asked was:

“Does music disturb the bees?”

The answer? Not at all.

The bees remained calm and focused on their work — foraging, fanning, and tending the hive. Low, steady acoustic sound caused no stress and, if anything, added to the tranquil atmosphere. It was a reminder that when humans slow down and respect nature, we can coexist beautifully.

A Space for Healing and Community 💛

For many who attended, Serenading the Bees was about more than music. It became:

  • A moment of calm in busy lives

  • A space for reflection and wellbeing

  • A chance to learn about bees without pressure or lectures

People sat on blankets, listened, talked quietly, and watched bees move between flowers — a powerful contrast to modern, noisy life.

Thank You to Our Musicians & Supporters

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to the musicians who donated their time and talent, and to everyone who came along, supported the project, and respected the bees and the land.

Events like this help Please the Bees show that conservation doesn’t have to be distant or clinical — it can be creative, joyful, and deeply human.

What’s Next?

After the success of last year’s events, we’re excited to explore more nature-led experiences — combining education, art, and conservation — all while keeping the wellbeing of the bees at the heart of everything we do.

If you’d like to be involved in future events, performances, or collaborations, keep an eye on our updates or get in touch.

🎶🐝 Because sometimes, the best way to protect nature… is to listen.
